HANAHAKI

Hanakai is a disease in which the victim coughs up flower petals when they suffer from unrequited love. The flowers grow in the lungs, stomach and heart. Hanahaki is a painful and slow process. It ends when the beloved one returns their feelings or when the victim dies. It can also be cured through surgical removal, but when the infection is removed in this way, the victim's romantic feelings for their love also disappear. If not treated, Hanahaki is fatal.
